What This Is:

A 4–8 week guided rite of passage for nervous system regulation, embodied power, and deep inner clarity.

The Somatic Fire & Ice Activation is a trauma‑informed, body‑based experience that uses heat, cold, breath, sound, and conscious presence to help you regulate your nervous system, access your inner resilience, and reconnect to your innate capacity to meet life with clarity and strength.

This is not a fitness challenge or a test of willpower.

It is a guided somatic initiation — one that invites you to listen to your body, expand your capacity to feel, and discover how much choice, agency, and wisdom already live within you.

Our sessions are in person and take place at Pure Sweat Sauna Studio in downtown Winston-Salem, NC.

Why Fire & Ice?

Across cultures, heat and cold have been used as ceremonial tools for healing, purification, and awakening. When approached intentionally and safely, contrast becomes a powerful teacher.

  • Fire (heat) softens the body, opens sensation, and reveals where we hold tension, resistance, or control.

  • Ice (cold) sharpens awareness, brings us into the present moment, and invites us to meet intensity without collapse or dissociation.

When combined with breath, sound, and skilled facilitation, Fire & Ice becomes a portal into:

  • Nervous system resilience (helping get you out of fight-or-flight more easily, cultivating equanimity or levelheadedness)

  • Emotional regulation

  • Somatic confidence 

  • Trust in your body’s whispers, messages and signals

No prior experience with breathwork, cold exposure, or somatic work is required.

What to expect:

Each Fire & Ice Activation is thoughtfully paced and tailored to the individual or group.

A typical session includes:

  • Grounding and nervous system orientation

  • Guided heat exposure with breath, visualization, movement, and sound

  • Optional cold immersion or cold exposure with continuous support

  • Integration through reflection, journaling, and gentle coaching

You are always invited to move at your own pace. Choice, consent, and nervous system awareness are central throughout.

1 × 30‑minute Intro Coaching & Intake Call
A focused conversation to clarify intentions, assess readiness, review health considerations, and attune the work specifically to you.

4 × Deep‑Dive Fire & Ice Sessions (2 hours each)
Each session includes:

  • Guided heat & cold contrast practices

  • Trauma‑informed breathwork

  • Somatic coaching and inquiry

  • Intention setting and integration

  • Customized breath and somatic meditation practices

All sessions are facilitated by a trauma‑informed certified coach, breathwork facilitator, and registered nurse, ensuring both depth and safety.

  • Unlimited voice note and text support between sessions

  • Guidance on both steady days and difficult moments

  • A consistent relational container — you are not doing this alone
